Riding Instruction
Our aim at our Centre is to teach classical riding to all levels of rider, helping everyone gain an independent seat and freedom of movement in the saddle thus enabling the rider to enjoy the horse to its full potential.
Aberdeenshire Equestrian Centre has a wide variety of horses, which are suitable for training both novice riders in the basic skills and more experienced riders who wish to improve their ability. Our facility is the location where riders of all ages can experience the delights and thrills of their very first ride or enhance the skills of the more experienced rider seeking a higher level of work such as dressage and jumping.
All lessons are tailored to the personal needs of the individual or group in order to develop your ability at a pace that you are comfortable with. Clients wishing to improve their skills are issued with a tailor made personal development programme, by doing such programmes we set realistic and achievable goals for each individual to work towards.
Our lesson format is as follows:
Initially private lessons made up of 6 x 30 minute sessions
Competent at walk and rising trot, maximum 4 per group
Working in open order, maximum 6 per group
